Made with a 2009 grant from the Open Society Institute over seven months, this series documented bacha bazi, the practice of keeping boys as dancers and companions for men with power. The Washington Post published it in April 2012. The threats that followed ended his job at the US Embassy and forced him to leave the country. Exhibited in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
